I had a driver who had his truck break down (rear axle pig exploded) and so because it was a few hundred miles away, we sent a truck so the driver to continue his work while the other one was towed to the nearest dealer to be repaired and brought back here. I called to check on the progress of the changeover, the guy who drove out the truck said that he and the tow truck driver were waiting on the other driver to empty the truck. The driver had it so packed with crap that it took him 90 minutes to empty it of his personal belongings, the computer, and the TV took the longest to unhook and then the driver had to remove the hotspot stuff from the mirror and the CB.

When he left the company, which was to take care of his mom, I told him to drive the truck up here, we would secure it for him until he gets back from Mayo and he took off to help his mom. He came back about three weeks later with a pickup truck and unloaded the truck which filled the entire bed of the truck.

For the love of God, please don’t buy everything now. Add one thing at a time as you see what you have to work with. Space is very limited and he will have a LOT LESS time to do anything but sleep and drive.

I didn't realize it had been that long ago. I was in it for about 14 hours. Southbound I-75 in Marietta, Georgia. I gave away a lot of water and snacks. There was a lot of people with kids stuck there.

Blizzard of 93. Do a search on it. Monstrosity of a storm.

I didn’t have school for over a week during that. Good times.

I got stuck in Tuscaloosa. If you get a chance, look it up…it’s an interesting read. It was one of the baddest No name storms that hit.

I’ve been driving close to 40 years 6 of those I pretty much lived in the truck all these years the only things I keep in my truck are 2 clothes bags a brief case and a cooler and some spare parts & filters and a tool box & a hot shot I can have it all out of the truck in less then 5 to 7 minutes
