Which town are you in; maybe some training for your husband that's closer to your home.

He'd have to get a South Carolina permit.

Winter Haven, Florida. Is there any places near there or any surrounding counties hire him with a cdl permit? Thank you again for your help!

Then what? Pay again for CDL training?

Sorry but there’s no “easy button” in life. Tell him to stick to what he started and get it done..no matter if it takes 10 retests.

Wish you had come to the forum and asked questions prior to enrolling in that school. Sage would have been the way to go and he wouldn’t be dealing with the failures.

If you have the money, try for one more road test at the cdl school.

    Then what?
Pay one of the mega-moron companies 7-8k for the experience, lol.

OP , changing course right now would be a huge costly mistake. He will be indebted to a company for a year or so and will take home a crap paycheck until his debt is forgiven.

At this point the guy has one thing in his favor by staying the course..familiar with the equipment and the course..okay two things :)

at my school, i have seen failures, due to nerves, and that DMV or trooper sitting next to the student..no one likes to be tested, but you know what..??

every trucking job he applies to, he is given a quick road test, so what i'm saying is we drivers are tested constantly.

go back to the original school, pay the money, tell him to think of that tester sitting next to him as his driver's helper, not a tester.

also tell him the day of the test...NO COFFEE or soft drinks with lots of sugar or caffeine..!!!!!!!

the tester is NOT there to fail the student......
