I was charged basically $13k for a OEM Cylinder Head. Final results. Plan on picking the truck up Thursday or Fridayengine_900, 77fib77, dosgatos and 2 others Thank this. -
Don't mean to be an *****hole and maybe wrong, but it looks like items you were charged for parts separately, like the intake seals that are in the kit with that part number. I had this happen at a Freightliner dealer last November.

I asked my mechanic about the head, he said for you to get it and keep it, there may be a chance that it is usable and just needs to go to a shop to be "reconditioned", you could make some of the money back by also selling it if there is no major problems. -
My neck of the woods a head rebuild cost around $2-3k.
