Hey everyone. Possibly looking to change companies. I have one year in my own truck today clean license, dbl triple, tanker and manual endorsement. Gonna print the hazmat and study it. Looking at otr regional or local. Something dedicated that got me through the house would be good. Obviously pay and benefits is a big thing. Had a lot of sitting past two weeks. Tried to get night dispatch to get me a hotel and got ghosted two weeks ago. Second to last straw was, got to terminal Sunday didn’t leave till last night at 6. Basically couldn’t get a Uber Lyft unless crazy money. New eld was supposed be ready to go. It wasn’t. Trailer was supposed to be pm’d and checked it wasn’t. Both had to get redone. Then had to argue to get one reset pay and one layover pay. They didn’t want to do that. Headed home after these two loads to cool down. Getting my ducks in a row now. Like my dispatcher and the terminal, after this can’t even look at messages with out no going sky high. Sorry about long winded post, figured I’d try to cover some obvious questions first. @Chinatown any suggestions. Thanks everyone.
Possibly looking for a new company suggestions?

Are you pulling reefers, flatbed or what type trailer?
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Eventually if I pass hazmat probably local. Out over night once or twice a month is an option. But that’s down the road. Right now I’m open to otr regional and local. Decent pay good benefits and hometime decently maintained equipment and good treatment are my top priority. Not set on making a change but checking the water.
