I drove most of dad's cars by that age, usually under direct supervision.

Solo run in his Vette at about 22 with the instructions of blow out any carbon that he had not. Told him it was slow. We both rolled out -- He took the Vette and me my Fairmont. Yep Vette was slow, kinda expected as it was a small block. Then rolled back out again, but Him in the 5.0 Fox Body Capri. Capri took that one by a bumper.

Glad I was not living at home at the time -- mom was not happy.

 

I think it would probably be safe to assume that there was at least a whole lot of alcohol involved and possibly some other stuff too....this is definitely not any kind of normal behavior where I come from...and I'm from the frozen tundra of Northwestern Montana.
