What if it Snows?

. I’m pretty sure I’ve never heard any of her records played on the stations I listen to. My granddaughters don’t seem to have the TS fever so if she becomes bigger or disappears it will take a long time for me to notice.

 

Over the last 10 years or so I have come to see where the VA is good they are VERY good. Where they are not so good they are BAD! Since I turned 65 I have started to use a NON-VA Eye Doc because the Hampton Virginia VA Eye Clinic is not good and the wait times are horrible. Last year I had an appointment for a day in May, the Eye Doc sent me a notice about 2 days before that she was not going to be in the office that day. I had to reschedule and the best date I could get was about six months later. While my diabetes is under control and my A1Cs are close to 6 My mother and my paternal grandmother both were blinded by macular degeneration and it is CRITICAL I keep a close watch on my eyes. I also after he fouled up my meds gave up on the Neurologist there and was able to find a great one who also keeps hours here at Williamsburg. Generally, the VA is good when it comes to the pharmacy. Even my civilian doctors can prescribe my meds and the VA will fill them. I just got royally peeved when I got wind that the staff clinical pharmacist said there was no difference between U-100 and U-300 baseline insulin. I have a fantastic VA endocrinologist and she just bypassed the VA pharmacy and I am using my Medicare to pay for the insulin. I also had another issue with those idiot clinical pharmacists over some Heart meds a while back. I get a bit terse when a pharmacist overrules a Medical Doctor and says you can't have a med. Finally, the head of that dept had some choice words for that moron and I got the pills. When it comes to the VA each veteran has different experiences. In the coming years, I see myself dropping the VA and signing up for a Medicare Advantage Plan.

 

Thinking that I would have to have a a limb dangling and about to bleed out and then it would have to be a last choice type of deal before I went to a VA

 

I heard that genetically modified horses make their own meth.

Just got a mental image of that.......it was not pleasant.
