I would of been looking up bondsmen by now !!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

You shoulda seen the piece of work i had to deal with at Transport America!!!

The guy could not speak a complete sentence without the "F" bomb in at least three times, then he sexual harrassed one of the attendants at the terminal and since i am a Criminal Justice degreed individual he asked me for legal advice in case she complained up the ladder.

We were In Philthadelphia and had just picked up huge rools of paper(for some reason Transport America likes those dang things i hauled them 4 times in a week and a half!) Anyway, on the way out I was mid intersection and about to swing my right turn and some 4 wheeler drives out past the stop line the entire length of his 1970's Delta 88 oldsmobile plus a couple extra feet(in other words about 20 feet past the line, so i had to come to stop in the intersection.................Well, i'm a pretty easy going guy and just shook it off un perturbed and fugred i'd wait for the light to change and traffic would ju8st have to clear out around me which they still had room to do, since i could not back up due to another truck behind me........................

My trainer who isn't even driving goes into a uncontrollable rage and hangs half his body out of the window and starts screaming obscentities to everyone in hearing distance and flipping off those who weren't!!!!

I look at him incredulously and state " **** these people in Philly carry guns and love to shoot people!!!!"

He turns to me and says " **** you too ***hole,i'll **** you up the same as any other Mother******, I don't give ****!!!!"

I'm thinking "Dude, you need to chill and maybe find take some serious time off of trucking you burned out sorry little man!!!"

So exactly 1 day later he tells me to bump my first loading dock, it was tight one, and i had to pull do a couple "pull ups" but nailed the dock dead tits perfect, i'm thinking "Well that wasn't so bad!"(considering one of the guys i was in orientation with, took off both trailer doors on door busters his first day out and got fired!)

I get out, i had hit the dock, not endangered any other trucks or mine and hit the dock perfectly, my trainer immediatly comes up and starts screaming at me for doing two pull ups. I replied "I'll do as many as i want if it means i don't do damage to me or another guy/girls truck or the dock!!" This just led to another tirade!!

Oh and on the way up to this facility to load, we took a road through my home county in Pennsylvania and he starts Saying things "Yeah, we in inbred , redneck country now, these people all related to themselves several times!!" I'm sitting there fuming and gettign madder by the minute as he goes on about the area then he notices i'm really pissed and says "What the **** is your ******* problem?"

I said "Besides you spending the last 40 miles insulting people of which i am related to a lot of them, nothing!!"

You think that would embarrass somebody who was mentally stable and they would appologize for their rudeness.........NOPE....

Form **** it's "Oh get the **** over it!"

He too knew every Adult bookstore and strip joint including one with a drive through window along RT.22 in Pennsylvania!! You cna tell a lot about somebody by their vocabulary and actions, and my final decision on that particular trainer was made when he swearing to his mother over the phone and greeted his wife with "Hey, ***** We're ******* tonight, NO is not an option!!"

All in all i don't hink your trainer at U.S.Xpress was too bad compared to this waste of his parents sexual relations!!

I'm surprised you went out with a Dedicated trainer if you wanted OTR. It's takes a couple of weeks longer to get your 150hrs doing dedicated.

 

They musta promoted that trainer to DM Dave in Columbus was the name? Typical TA stuff.

 

When these aholes aren't looking what you do is start a small recording device (most new phones have them) or buy one at walmart for 20. or 30. bucks, and when he's not looking turn it on. Get him recorded, tell the company to fire him or you will give one copy to your attourney (sp) and one copy to your local news channel with a statement of whats been going on. You DONT need to put up with that arrogant uneducated dumba@#!

I know exactly what you went through. I went through the same thing at Werner. I had two trainers and they were both very unpleasant people to be around. My first trainer would yell at me every time I made a mistake, never taught me how to use the qualcomn, didn't have me start my paper log until two weeks after I got on his truck, and just made me nervous. I took a week off halfway through because I wanted to(Werner gives you the option of going home for a week when you're halfway done with training. You have to complete 275-300 hours of actual behind the wheel time before you can test out and get your own truck.) My second trainer was a real #########! He would say I was retarded, would tell me pull my head out of my #####, and was just plain rude to me. He would also use racial slurs like the n-word and was a racist pig. This guy told me that he hated training but said he "had to do it" because he needed the money and couldn't make anything being just a solo driver. I should have gotten rid of both of them but I was too much of a wimp and I should have stood up for myself. My advice, if you have a bad trainer, get rid of them! A lot of these trainers do it just for the extra money. I know that I personally wouldn't want to train, but I wouldn't curse people out or treat them like dirt.
