Riding Bikes

Few more miles last night spittin snow in Haxtun, CO. I've been doing more runs and weighted hikes the last few months preparing for a big hike coming up late next month.

Should've kept the bike in that rotation.

 

I've been trying to get 5 miles/week in on my treadmill over winter. I'd like to run a full marathon just for bragging rights.

 

I'm still running, just not very good at it. Did my longest run so far Sunday. Nothing great, but I'm happy with it.

Nice sunny day yesterday. Dog is starting to stop fearing the trike.

 

Still gettin after it. 25ish miles Friday split pretty even into hiking, biking, and running, with 2750ft of elevation gain

 

And for anybody looking, at home we have a good hike/mtn bike trail with easy access to I 40 and truck parking. There's also tennis courts, a very easy walking trail, and pool.

Cranked out a bunch of miles in the Ozarks the last two weeks hiking and biking. Saw these rock formations and decided to see if I could get to the top.

Found a pasttime summit register up there. Gonna try to get back up there and clean that rock up so I can make out the name clearly.

There was an old 1800's homestead roughly 1/2 mile away.

Back to work now.
