    I'll tell you what happened.

    Roscoe P. Coltrane in his 1977 Ford ltd that wasn't receiving regular maintenance, tried catching up to your convoy because you blew by him so quickly that you startled him causing him to spill his coffee.

    A lengthy pursuit was not in the cards since your convoy was over the border so quickly.

    I’am wondering if he pulled over on the side of the road right after the scale and got on TTR and started this thread or what ?

    Michigan used to have these neon-tube elements in their weigh station signs which said either "closed" or "open", where the letter were in 2 layers, and the "o" and the "e" were shared by both words. Sometimes, it seems both circuits were on, and the sign read something like "CLO(S&P)E(D&N)", and you really didn't know whether it was closed or open. More than once, I went through one of these only to find it was completely deserted...
