I'll be finishing school soon and I want to do flatbed, I live in Charlotte and looking at TMC and Maverick. I see a lot of TMC trucks coming thru town counted 8 between here and Greensboro one day so that should be good for getting home only have seen 1 Maverick truck but I know that dont mean they dont come thru here. Anyway looking for input from N.C. drivers from either company or any suggestions on another company I should try. Thanks in advance

Mav has tightened their hiring area (used to go out to I-95) but think it still includes Charlotte. Between them and TMC, I think Mav is the better company. Both companies can be sort of anal about smaller things, but TMC seems to go over board.

Using our search feature
TMC
Maverick -
The search function is a big help, EXCEPT, don't try to search for a company whose name is 4 letters or less (example, Hunt). It's not smart enough.
Sorry, Baack, just wanted to warn the OP -
I did give him the link to TMC forums, so many threads in there a guy could get lost
My hint with the search feature, was for him as well as other members
Seems we get so many first time posters asking the same questions over and over
Saves us all timekickin chicken Thanks this.
