Good for him, if hes happy I wouldn't try talking him out of quitting some place hes happy at.
But you have to realize the facts are that for every happy driver at CFE there are hundreds that have been taken advantage of.

Just like TOYOTA for every HAPPY owner theres 10 claiming the had ACCELATOR problems to beat the SPEEDING TICKETS and likey never had a problem just joined the BAND WAGON.
I have pulled loads for CRE 's load broker side , got decent rates ( not as good as I got at times but good ) and $ was paid on time.sillymom2three Thanks this. -
Your not actually going to try and compare CRE to a real company like Toyota. Majority of Toyota employees are fat and happy. Low turnover. When economy hit skids line people took 10% cut. Mid management 20%. Upper took 30%. No layoffs. CRE has about the highest turnover rate in industry. what is it now about 230%? You may like them and that's good. But they are and have been a rotten outfit for many many years. If you want to drive and no where else to turn and can eat sheet sandwiches for a yr or 2 then you can get a start there. For every good story here there are 20 bad ones. Ripoff report is full of their greed stunts. They make enough to treat people decent and don't. Broker side may be better , but most come here w/ no idea what kind of cheese eating rats they are getting into bed w/ at CRE.

230%? Am I doing the math right? If they have 10,000 drivers ( I want to work with round numbers) does that mean they hire 23,000 every year?

Where did I mention TOYOTA EMPLOYEES , or even TOYOTA management.
I mentioned people who OWN TOYOTA vehicles , completely different STORIE and the fact they join in complaining just as many WHO never worked for or HAD dealings with CRE band together to belittle the company and those that either work there or deal with them.
As for RIP OFF report thats a pile of BS ( anyone can post anything on there ) , produce COURT documents of cases for / against these people / CRE and the rulings then you have some stats to go on. -
They have been sued. Lost part of case and other part was thrown out. You can spin it any way you want. They are rat outfit. never ending line of drivers telling about being treated like dog #### by them. Some people don't mind that. Good for them. Anyone w/ any self esteem will get their yr if they have to and run like Hell. They profit off letting others pay for their equipment and then ripping them off any way possible.

I went to their orientation a couple weeks ago. I made it past the first smoke break and left. $40 for a cab back to Colton a half a tank of gas there and back. I got off easy but it was entertaining listening to all those Gumps that were BS'd into believing all the crap they were being fed. One guy called me a fool for not going for the lease program.
