My hood latch handle is cracked and I want to replace it. The bottom handle part is what I need to unscrew. Would a 10 mm socket do the job?

But you mean he has to actually find a 10mm instead of just sitting there typing on his phone? The horror.

Well in all fairness, finding a 10mm socket is like finding a unicorn. Ask any mechanic. That and a 9/16 wrench. I swear as soon as you take eyes off either one, they grow legs and disappear

I would also suggest a ratchet and 6” extension. :biggrin_25523:

...Or a 7/16 if the 10mm is a hair too small.

More like I wanted to know what to get before I spent my money and bought the wrong thing. I understand that you aren’t capable of foresight like most people. No worries.

Just ask one of us old turds next time you’re in a truck stop. We all have about 6 of every tool made in our trucks. I have separate Milwaukee tool boxes for every category, wrenches etc. Some I can’t even lift anymore.

Save your money because once you start buying tools it’ll become an addiction..
