Believe me....you won't be hiding anything...they can find out just about anything that they want.
They say they only go back so many years for stuff like this, but I have to tell ya, I work for a trucking company (name withheld) and they have been known to go back further.

    But...you should be fine anyway.

The only way to make sure a ticket doesn't reach your MVR is to go to your court date and ask the judge if he/she would agree to a "deferred judgement," meaning that after you pay the fine, if you keep your nose clean for a certain amount of time, the citation will fall off your record.

That no longer works for CDL holders since almost five years ago and they keep tightening loopholes in the law so that people that drive for a living pretty much have any and every conviction listed on the MVR, including non-moving. The traffic school thing was disallowed late last 2005 or around the first of 2006. There is another thread here about that. Once the case is heard by a judge and judged, if you are guilty, it goes on your MVR.

Ahh, that makes sense. When I did it, I was probably only 18 or so, and it was on my PDL. Then again, it sounds like the citation that panhandlepat was originally talking about was on his PDL and he didn't have a CDL at the time. If that was the situation and you got a citation, maybe you'd still be able to get a deferred judgement?

Also, don't some states forbid companies from using your personal record for business purposes? I think in WA they can only use your CDL for business.

To answer your question, I honestly don't know, and I would expect that all citations from any license will eventually be on it, I sense the heavy hand of the insurance industry behind this push. I'm going to look up that other thread.
