Hey everyone question what audio books, podcasts (all positive ) are you listening to OTR. I’m finding that I don’t listen to music as much but I’m interested in knowing what you are listening to. Also are there any trucking ones I can listen , laugh , a learn from. Also what are you doing in down time 34 hr reset I don’t drink alcohol so that’s out question just looking for ideas to keep myself up a mental health up as well. I purchased resistance bands an I eat my own food now too. Advice?

For day trading you'll need a laptop computer to carry in your truck:

If you sit in complete silence, where does your mind take you?

I don’t know if you are just looking to occupy the mind as you drive OR actually looking at learning and bettering you. I am a problem solver and my biggest problem in life has always been that idiot that looks at me in the mirror. Fix that fool first! How?

When I was a teen, I would do stupid stuff or get pissed off, lose my ship, allow others to ruin my day or spoil my mood. The voice in my head would torment me every time. Hated this. Hated me. Started trucking. Hated the general public and became a foul person.

In the gym, I would block everything out mentally, from music to people until there was only me, and the iron. Looked into the mirror and realized that the voice in my head torturing me for being stupid was a stronger, much more intense and disciplined me…my shadow self. This was the conversation that I actually needed to have to improve. All those years of avoidance, using music, TV, booze, telephone, whatever…to avoid having that conversation with the shadow self.

What happens when you finally unlock the shadow self? Certain abilities go through the roof. Learning, listening, remembering, focus, self awareness and self control. Add from the physical exercise, much higher pain tolerance, control of stress. Best of all, the shadow has a strong immunity to manipulation.

    Sound crazy?

    Audible.

I listened to The Wager. It's about the British navy in the 1700s a boat gets ship wrecked. It's history channel stuff. But I liked it.

Joe Rogan is good. 2 or 3 times month listen to him.
