Our engineers have done some spot-checks on highways in California and did not see any issues. We will need some specific route information so that we can check further. Please provide the following:
1. The starting address
2. The destination address
3. Your truck settings (the lengths and weights)
4. The approximate location where you were getting the warnings.

I am going to jump on the band wagon here. Just bought one at Petro for $399. I am pissed that I didn't get points for the purchase.
I would have gone to the T/A for the same price + the points. -
I just talked t a customer service rep. She was not very nice and courteous. I was trying to find where to pug in my unit to turn it on and check for upgrades. Basically acted like I was stupid.
I did get my upgrade ordered. Is there anyway to do it online? Waiting a week for the software when I am on the road in 2 days. -
Hey Rug Trucker...after spending the day in LA I am definately getting a GPS. Let me know how you like your Cobra.

Truck settings were 65' and 80,000 lbs.
Original routing from Flying J was west on CA 12 to I-80 and then north to I-505. I set detour to avoid CA 12, it then rerouted me south to I-205. Went back to original route and ignored it. Drove north thru Sacramento on I-5. Was routed to service roads and warnings of 38' lengths. Switched vehicle to staaight truck at 35'. Proper routing then obtained on I-5. Switched back to 65' and had 38' warnings at each exit all the way to the Oregon border.

On the Nuvi you see a little truck. You touch it and it tells you can select police, hospitals or truck stops. How does it work on the Cobra? Gonna tes it in the Caravan. I don't leave 'til tomorrow am.
