haha, for one of the first times ever, I gotta agree with NoTarps on this. If you get a "regular" truck, it will be just fine. But if you get one of the lightweights, it doesn't get much more "stripped" than that!

Yeah, if you go company... lease drivers get full sized, fully equipped trucks. I wasn't talking about company trucks.

Yeah, well... your situation definitely sucked. You were, however, flatbed. Different industry altogether than reefer, because of the different types of stuff hauled.

There is currently plenty of loads and miles for reefer at Prime. We're moving non-stop and making money. Flatbed... that's a different story.

Granted I'm a company driver...but you aint kiddin'. My dispatcher has become very good at utilizing my full 70hr clock. I'm running it down to near zero just about every single day. Kind of annoying being right at the clock all the time, but at the same time, nice to have the problem. Better than getting unwanted 34hr restarts.

I've been out for almost 2 months now (by choice) and am pretty much exhausted. In those 2 months, I've been to both boarders and both coasts multiple times....and I'm a solo driver. Lookin' forward to some home time next week so I can meet up with Jack Daniels and friends, get some R&R, then get back out here and make some more $$$!

    The gettin' is good....

No kidding. Im coming off hometime tommorow and the boss man called me this afternoon to give me a heads up. Told me to be ready to run, pre-planned on a cross country load.

Picking up tommorow here in WA going to VA.
