FedEx Ground Linehaul with JohnBoy

Oh they’ll find whoever did it. There’s cameras on every inch of the property. I hate to put it this way, but every contractor that is assigned to the hub has mostly local drivers that live locally and half of them are women. The contractors that show up from California are, let’s say, questionable in their appearance and hygiene.

 

Was a rather uneventful week. Finished the week with doing some local D/H’s on Thursday, then spent the night at the Olive Branch hub. This weekend was the nationwide truck rodeo so FedEx was short drivers. I woke up Friday morning and grabbed a shower then bobtailed to the QT for breakfast. While there I got my load assignment. Build a set that was ready and drag it down to Pensacola. 445 miles later I was breaking the set down and taking my 10. I was assigned a set of empties to bring back to Murfreesboro. Left after I finished my break and drove back the 415 miles. Got there yesterday about 6pm. Put the truck to bed, packed my bag and relaxed until my Uber showed up at 0315 to take me to the airport. I’ll be home about 0930 to start my time off. The lovely woman I’m married to has a laundry list of things to take care of around the house.
