I did a couple seconds of math on FET and state sales tax and am thinking I might just convert my T800 to a crew cab and stretch the frame and that would get me the essentials. Probably will need a front axle swap. I'm envisioning a sleeper big enough for seats plus luggage behind them, like a giant SUV. I believe the BBC is a bit longer on T800 but I've got the title. And no emissions.

Well I'm an idiot, BBC on the kenworth after adding extra seats would be 1.2 miles. Long week.

I’ve seen drom boxes on tractors hauling explosives . They keep the blasting caps and volitile stuff in the drom box
adding doors to a sleeper can’t be that hard
You could get Probabaly four seats across and a luggage rack above them like a bus or airplane
And shops stretch frames all the time .
you might could also make a headache rack deck that folds down to form a flatbed so if you drop the trailer you could still haul some cargo to the site .wheelofgrime Thanks this. -
As far as the build goes I can do the metalwork. Biggest intimidating factor is making an interior that doesn't look like a shed. I do want people to travel in this rig with me haha.
The fold down rack is brilliant, btw.
Side note, I made the same mistake regarding bumper-to-back-of-cab with the International. I was going off the stated inch dimension but that was for the daycab. I guess I am kinda burned out right now.
Anyway I think I am going to build this - be fun to take an old rig with a long history and make it into something unique that pays the bills. And I really like the Kenworth.
