Amen! I no longer listen to the Dixie Chick's just because they decided to use the entertainment stage as a political soap box. I didn't pay hard earned money for your soap box. Sing or put a sock in it.

 

I also am not listening to politicians about music. They tried that in the 90's. I also wouldn't give young people marriage advise!

 

It took the trash company two days to finally figure out where our new place is at to deliver the dumpster.

That tells me I definitely have the right place...just close enough to town and not easy to find.

 

Amen to that. Do what you're paid to do, or give an interview to the news channels...but your opinion is useless, so don't spew it, not on my dime.

 

In turn, I don't want my plumber doing the same! Most people don't understand my views, which is fine. I hate equally.

 

About the only person who can really get away with it is Ted Nugent and that's only because you know you'll get it when you go to the show. Its not coming out of left field.

 

Not really. If you’re gonna do a show, do the show. You want to pontificate, then do that some where else.

 

Exactly, I'm not buying someone's ticket to listen to that stuff. I wanna hear the music. They can write a book or do a podcast /interview.

I'm not discussing "roofing practices" with a soft hand politician either.

 

Lotsa folks have told me I'm too blunt when i shouldn't be....most of the time they are the ones hanging around when things get awkward and they need someone to say what's on their mind. I've no use for actors.

 

My dad bought this bike 30 years ago. I rode with him for many years until I was old enough to get my own. It's been sitting for 6 years including 4 years under a tarp in my shop. Finally got around to replacing the carb and getting it running this weekend. The chrome is pretty rough and it needs a wash bad but it's getting back on the road finally. He parked it in 2012 when he got the Bagger. Hard to give up the cruise control and radio. It was ridden a rew times between 2012 and 2018 then parked. Sat in his garage for 3 years until I got my shop in 2020. Moved it here since I had plenty of space.
