What are the laws about carrying firearms inside the cab of a truck?
What about black powder revolvers or even flintlock pistols that aren't technically considered firearms in my state?
Are there any weapons you can legally carry with you inside the cab of your truck?

Anything which it's primary purpose is a tool, will not draw undue interest from a trooper, with in reason. Google trucker's friend for an example.

There’s no law specifically against carrying in your truck. The only “laws” in that sense are state laws one way or the other that apply to everyone.

Now, company policy on the other hand may prohibit firearms in the truck, but that’s not law or regulation.

Get several of the small fire extinguishers and mount them in the cab and bunk

They just as good as pepper spray .

and get a super bright tactical flashlight

handguns are too much paper work if you ever use it you will spend $50-100k on a lawyer .

Black powder and flintlock? With only a single shot, you had better be accurate the first time.

This subject has a lot of mis-information out there, but MACK is correct.

Sites like this: Can Truckers Carry Guns? – AFT Dispatch say the FMCSA prohibits it unless you have a carry permit.

But: Weapons in CMVs says its ok as long as you live by state laws. Since JJ Keller wrote the book, I would trust their say on it.

Hey, with a .62 caliber round ball shooting at 1200fps all you need is one shot! Lol.
They killed plenty of people then.
I just don't want to be drug out of my truck and beaten to death like that one trucker was when he happened upon "peaceful protesters" on the interstate.
Black powder weapons are a fun hobby of mine!

Has anyone thought of using brake cleaner. I've gotten it in my eyes just a little bit and it's debilitating. My son has a laser that will start a fire and blind an assailant also.
