Same page, hand. Just pointing out that the main problem with trying to remain legal is that being legal put you in jeopardy.

For example, Home Alone: kid boobytraps his house to foil the baddies. Hurts them really bad. IRL, baddies would sue the homeowner, the kid’s parents, and make off with more loot than what they could have stolen. Parents would probably lose their home and their kids while paying big bucks to the thieves.

But if the kid pulls dad’s backup sidearm and sends the thieves to another dimension, case closed. Clean up on aisle three.
