I was terminated by Mabe trucking after taking to long to back up during my testing although I backed it up in the spot I was getting out to look and making sure I was clear while backing so they said it took to long but then they turned around and put on my Dac report that I was terminated for safety reasons resulting in other trucking companies not hiring me Mabe Trucking also put that i was rehireable please make that make since you blackball people with that report so automatically you have to come back to them I filed a complaint against them with hire right but have heard anything as of yet

That is unfortunate. I once watched a KLLM driver at the Pilot in Calhoun, Georgia take nearly half an hour to back into a spot. The bigger issue was that the driver was backing into five spots (all empty in a row) all sorts of crooked and catty-cornered. Your issue definitely doesn't seem "safety" related as it does their own personal preference of Mabe's. Now, if you got out and looked so many times and you still hit something, whether a cone or a light post, I could see the issue. Just look for employment with a company that does not check any HireRight report. There are plenty of them that don't, just not the mega carriers.

What would you categorize a driver who could not back in a reasonable amount of time? There is more to the story that is being described here.. I am also sure that there was some sort of history or this was re-training after something happened.

First blackballed in this industry doesn't exist.

Second is I am wondering about this --
    What testing?

    Be specific.

I sense some missing pieces to the puzzle here, or maybe even some "alternative facts." Are you talking about a road test when you first get hired on?

Thank you I never hit anything so why would they lie like that went to an orientation at Swift trucking it was sent home because they saw that on my deck report. I didn’t know it was on my dad report. I explained to the lady that it wasn’t true. I wasn’t terminated for safety issues and they still sent me back home went all the way to Richmond, Virginia at my expense and never was refunded for my gas for going there.

That is some bad pool on Swifts part, but I guess they are one of those companies that don't check much of anything until the prospect shows up to orientation. So, HireRight is a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. This means that you can dispute entries on the report. It seems you have already done this, so now it's a waiting game to find out what happens from their "investigation". I would speak to an attorney, if I were you. Not saying you have an iron clad case, because I do not know. But an attorney may find you have a case and take it on for you and get the issue rectified and possibly get you some money out of the deal. It all depends on the facts, though.

Sadly this is common... It happened to me once.. The blistering letter to the then CEO of the company got action and they realized how stupid and shizzy it was to do that to people. It takes a few moments to screen applications, if you're worried about a driver's background, you don't call them in and offer them a position till the background clears... They all want to get possession of the drivers before anyone else gets them.

Yes, it has happened to me too, with JB Hunt as a re-hire. Said I was eligible for re-hire several times. I go to Lowell for orientation and was sent home because they said I wasn't eligible for re-hire. But they did right by me, they paid for my bus ticket home and paid for the time I was in orientation.
