I think I have said this before but it bears repeating. Eff the guy who came up with the oil filter placement and that useless drip pan thing underneath it on this F150. I hope he breaks both ankles, arms and somehow looses half a nostril. He deserves all of that.

Finally had enough of that drip pan and removed it. Came out looking like a coalminer from the elbows down. Oil doesn’t drain out of it, it just lays there. And there is two openings so you may have oil come out front and back.

 

That last picture…….are we supposed to be concentrating on the plate? Cause if so that’s a cruel little trick. Apologies to your wife. It’s the one button latched that made me look. So it’s kinda her fault. Or yours for taking the pic. I’m the victim here.
