I went in and talked to these folks about working with them as a driver, they were very warm and friendly towards me. I think things are moving in the right direction as far as an opportunity I want to pursue with them.
Does anyone have any experience or familiarity with this company? They seem to haul a little bit of everything, everywhere but it looks like they are mainly dry van hauling in the eastern half of the United States. Nice late model Kenworth T680 classic trucks and air ride dry van trailers as well as two reefers for specialized plastic hauling. They said that they are having to turn down freight because demand for them to haul it is so high from the companies that they work with in their local area.
I also wanted to mention that they have a few trucks wrapped in salute to the troops graphics that looks awesome.

I talked with them awhile back as an o/o. They offered me a decent rate and FSC and deductions were reasonable. It seemed like they were going to send me to the NE a lot and that is why I didn't pull the trigger.

I've been working for them for just about a month now and so far my experience has been very positive. My first week I did nothing but local runs and in the three weeks since I've gone to Memphis, Texas, and am now headed to Auburn University to drop off a load. Light loads going out and full load back hauls every time so far.
They put me in a 2018 Kenworth T680 with 667,000 miles on it and I was immediately a little bit concerned but so far the truck has been absolutely Rock solid and I can tell that it is been thoroughly maintained very well. Governor is 72 mph on cruise and I regularly get to 73 or 74 on the pedal.
They have talked to me about going on East Coast runs to places like Vermont and Maine but the only thing that has been offered to me as an option so far was Richmond, Virginia. Everyone at the company has been terrific to work with, I cannot think of any complaints so far and I'm very glad that I decided to go with this company.Short Fuse EOD Thanks this. -
I wanted to give an update on this company after working with them for 13 months and today I agreed with their management to part ways in on amicable terms.
I first wanted to say that this is a very well run organization and everyone at the company treated me exceptionally well throughout the time I worked with them. They always had a willingness to accommodate my schedule without fuss so long as I gave them an appropriate amount of advance notice. I never had any issues with pay or reimbursements. I truly appreciate the fact that the company reimburses you for paid parking if you absolutely need to use it. W2 job with daylight working hours, some early morning and early evening driving as schedules may require.
The job consists primarily of hauling dry van loads anywhere in the Eastern or Central time zones, you will primarily be driving from Wisconsin to locations in the Eastern Time zone, dropping off, and then picking up back hauls that deliver in Wisconsin. Most of their freight is contracted through local Wisconsin manufacturers, most of the outbound loads that I hauled were to government contracted institutions such as public schools, universities, etc. They also have two reefer trailers that they haul specialized freight to and from one location in northern Vermont regularly. The freight they haul is boring stuff and overall the job is very simple. TA/PETRO is there preferred fuel stop.
They also have local drivers that mainly pick up preloaded trailers to bring back to their yard in Plymouth, Wisconsin for their OTR drivers to haul outbound. They also have a maintenance shop on site that does truck maintenance as well as light truck and trailer repairs, they do a good job.
One thing I really liked about this company is how they spec out their trucks. All trucks have a Cummins X15, Tripac APU, refrigerator, inverter, Samsara ELD, sliding fifth wheel, espar bunk heater, and NO DRIVER FACING CAMERA!
If you have any questions about this company in the future please feel free to reach out to me in this thread or by private message.gentleroger and lual Thank this. -
