So I've been at Schneider for a few months, driving a new International LT625.
All my past experience was in a MACK Pinnacle without all the #### safety alarms.
I got an excessive speed critical event for doing 71mph in a 70mph zone. The #### alarms are 75% false, because the software can't figure out the posted speed or the software programming is incorrect.
Has anyone else experience false flags in these new "DUMB" TRUCKS?

Many of us have. My company doesn't trip for something like that, but if we let the truck go over 80, that's resulting in a conversation with safety. Do it 2 times, and it's termination. The best thing to do is just keep an eye on your speed. Schneider and other megas get nitpicky about things like that. You may even have to set your cruise to a lower speed. You'll have to adapt to how they do things. It sucks, but sometimes it's what you gotta do to keep your job.
Vic Firth, Eddiec and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -
Yes, I got over 200 points taken off my score last week for seatbelt violations when I was wearing my seatbelt. These stupid speed monitors also expect you to enter a highway at 35mph because of the ramp speed limits.
I dont work for schneider but its the same everywherelual Thanks this. -
