How much do you want to bet some jerk politician in the states comes up with the cb radio ban next?
" let's see how much more money we can make of those nasty greasy truck drivers?"
" If they can do it in Canada, we can do it here in the United States"

Can I make a "citizen's arrest" on the cop that uses his radio to call in my plates? This is plain STUPID!!!!!

Okay, so let me get this straight... (forgive me if I seem confused, I have been running a fever for 2 days now, and have a bad case of brain fry.)

But this is what I see...

This man is using a communications device to warn other drivers of a potential safety hazard, and he gets a ticket for a safety related violation?? Yeah, that makes a whole lot of sense... NOT!

    ( Sarcasm alert)
They don't even use radios in the police cruisers today to run your plates.
THEY type your information into their computer.
But don't you get caught typing on your computer or your cell phone while driving!!!
Of course they are professional drivers and they know what they're doing better than we do!!!

Initially Ontario said the ban was not to take effect for 3 years, now they are debating moving it up. But like the last line of this article, since the 65mph mandatory governed speed took effect, I haven't been back to Ontario, and don't plan on going.

I know a lot of drivers feel the same way you do and refuse to go to Canada.
Now all we have to do is discourage the Canadian driver for coming in the states.
Let's just drop our freight at the border just like we do Mexico!
Both countries will have to hire more drivers to handle the increased workload.
We would putting more people to work in both countries and that is a good thing.

    GuysLady Thanks this.

The OPP and MTO are a joke, period. They have no clue what they are doing.
Somebody should hold these morans accountable for the mistakes they make.

GA actually tried to pass this ban already. Emergency vehicles are exempt from this law.
