I think you guys are overthinking it. Heavy trucks tear up asphalt, take up space(they won’t have room for 800 gas pumps). And truthfully most of y’all will want to park but spend little if no money. And 100% will it get trashed up.

The business model is for people on road trips. Those people will go in and drop a c-note and be gone in 45 minutes. That’s more profitable than Jamal camping in the parking lot for a day and a half and only spent 40 bucks. It’s not personal and they don’t owe you a place to park.

Don't most places say no overnight parking/camping on their lots? Keeps it from becoming a homeless camp.

I live in south Texas and we don't have any Kwik Trip stores around here but do have plenty of Bucees. We're barely getting QT stores around here the past few years.

What's cool about a Kwik Trip?

They have decent priced items in the store. Somewhere between a convenience store and Walmart price they have lots of yummy food item on the go or to refill the fridge. The staff are very friendly in the fuel pumps Quickly and give receipt at the pump. If you have the app, sometimes their specials are outstanding. Like $.99 loaf of bread, free bananas, etc.. their bakery items are delicious as well. Because of their food items and good prices a lot of people stop by and buy groceries on their way home from work.- not something a person would do at a loves. Too bad, you can’t find them outside the upper Midwest.

I don't care what people say about Bucees. Their urinals still smell like stale fruity pebbles just like every other one.

Bucees is nothing special. It's an oversized, overpriced, and way overhyped gas station. Give me that old rundown mom and pop stop with the sweet grandma at the register that TRULY appreciates your business. They're getting harder to find but they are still out there.

I have never seen an employee at a Kwik Trip/Kwik Star with a bad attitude. Genuinely helpful and friendly. Clean stores inside and out. Great place to get groceries on the road, Grab and go food is fresh and hot. The newer stops have wide parking and plenty of them.
