What if it Snows?

The way I see it, as someone who has done time, the biggest issue with our Judicial and Correctional systems is...

1) Over prosecution of minor offenses.

2) Under sentencing for serious offenses.

3) Parole Boards/Commisions trying to play judge by not granting parole to inmates who have met and/or exceeded requirements layed out by sentencing judges.

4) A serious lack of transitional training/support for inmates returning to society.

All of these increase the burden on tax payers by contributing to over crowded Correctional Facilities. And 2 of them directly result in higher rates of re-offense.

Work camps/farms are amazing opportunities for inmates who qualify... Given that the inmates are there voluntarily. I'm here to tell you about 95% of inmates would very eagerly volunteer to be part of a work camp.
