What are the chances this truck was 75+ and had plates from INSIDE THE COMMUNIST STATE?

In 1972 my wife and I rode from the East Bay to Disneyland on our honeymoon. About 425 miles each way.
She actually fell asleep a couple times on the way back.

Had to be on the 93 death zone — there was fresh burn scars and carnage at the top of Burro Creek Sunday morning at zero dark thirty

Was on 10 right at the border of NM.

That's why we went down to Tucson last night. There's too much can go wrong on that stretch, and often does.

Been 15 years or so since I been over that and it was bad then— I can’t even imagine what it would like in today’s brave new world— I was just hoping they would fix that stretch between Chloride and Kingman but that pothole that I normally hit by the jerky place is still there
