The way they have it set up it's blind going in, I think you could probably spin around further down the street and back up the way it was intended, but they were doing construction down there and I didn't want to go check it out. So I just went blind with cars trying to go around me the whole time, was a nice reminder as to why I want to stay on the gravy flatbed stuff I normally do. Pulling boxes sucks with this truck

I made money with the last one I had when I ran it.
Gonna tell everybody- load, size and load weight is now cut in half, and rates are going up!

I know nothing of your weight laws; will you be putting a tag axle on? Looks like maybe you would have rom either ahead or behind the drives. With the Moffet behind might work better. Just spit-balling here, I don't know if it would be worth it or what would work better.CAXPT, Deere hunter, cke and 7 others Thank this. -

Different locales have substantially different weight laws:
MA 20/52 rated you get 70k on
CT 20/46 rated you get 60k on
NY …. Is it 55k on 3 ? Sticks in my mind
add a steerable drop (NY requires axles that lift to also steer for divisible overweight permit)
NY is still lower but i don’t remember to what
CT is like 72.5k for non aggregate loads ( 76.5k on 4 if its jobsite material)
I gotta scale it when it’s all together with, and without the machine to see- I think it probably would be worthwhile to have a 20,000 pound steerable drop, for lawmens prying eyes, if nothing else
I won’t know the exact numbers without that scale ticket in hand but I’m going to guess that body on that chassis should net me somewhere in the realm of 17 1/2 or 18 ton @60k
Hopefully it wasn’t one more huge mistake in my life Ha ha haNostalgic, CAXPT, Deere hunter and 12 others Thank this.
