They were widely used in ag, and mostly had a Roosamaster pumps, even some on highway had Roosamasters. Some liked them, some didn't.

I don’t know a thing about the ag version. Seems like I did hear that some had a different pump. But again I don’t know anything about that pump. All the ones I have encountered were primarily city/county owned trucks and to my knowledge they all had a p7100. But they was a few moons ago.

I may have given false information. The 360 came primarily with an A pump I think. And not a P. The P will fit it and easily make more ponies. But I’m thinking it came with an A. Sorry for any confusion. Like I said it’s been a while

The front cover is different for some pumps but you can swap them. Have to take the the cam out. Front cover gasket is Permatex aniroid gasket sealer. I do not have the numbers at my recliner but do not use the black on or you will do it twice.

Finances? No, not really. There's a billion Cummins swaps already (not that popularity is the sole reason to do or not do something). Main rationale is that I just really like the International engines. I've had a DT466 in a dump truck, have had a DT360 in a flatbed. The DT360 can make interesting power when turned up.

I need an excuse me card also. I was thanking about a 7120? IHC tractor with a C series Cummins. P pump and other pump on C series require a different front cover. That IH engine with different pumps is likely the same about front covers.
DO NOT USE THE BLACK COLORED ANAROBIC SEALER WHAT EVER FRONT COVER YOU ARE WORKING ON!

It's been 22 years since I worked at IH. I believe the DT series came avaliable with 4 or 5 different pumps over the years. I used to know. Even worked on them in pump school. A/P/Roosamaster, but I think there was another rotary pump also.

    Had to dig. B
Had to dig. Bosch MW was another incline on medium duty trucks. Just couldn't remember. I still think there was more. I've seen rotary/distributor pumps on highway trucks, but not a lot.

They had alot of different engine sizes also.

    W923 and BoxCarKidd Thank this.
