Truckers woes and gloom and doom

now i just read a few post or threads what ever you choose to call them concearning the union , the goverment , ooida, and companys. not to mention drivers and i gotta say WHAT A CROCK OF NONSENSE.

now i've only been out here a couple od days so i might be wrong but i've been wrong before so no big deal.

now a lot of you are blaming the goverment for all the problems we have out here if your one of those you might regroup and rethink what your talking about.
there is no consapiracy against the trucking business by the goverment
what the goverment is guilty of is a lot of stupid regulation that are designed to get our money in the name of safty which is totally assinine and to those of you that are complaining about that i got a question for you . have you tried to do anything about? have you once called your represenative and let him no how you feel? i bet the answer to that is no. i have many times, i've called so many time when they answer the phone they get a headach.another question for you how should they no you don't like whats going on if you dont complain? they have no idea what a truck is or what it can or can not do. if you don'tg complain and i mean in numbers there going to pass what ever they want to all there after is the money and they do there job very well they all think we are an atm machine and they wont stop unless we raise hell and let them no.

the goverment controles our wages and the money we make , nonsense for a large part we do, we all have long ago forgot how to say no and we take what trhey give , who's fault is that if you took, it it's your fault period. not the goverment. all you need to do is remember that magic word NO.
the goverment conspires with the union against us , what a crock, now im not union BUT the union is here for a reason, to protect drivers, company drivers if they werent here the company driver would be making .50 an hour and they would be used as slave labor they do have a worth while purpose and if they were no union how long do you think it would be for these wonderfull companys to really put the screws to you, jus look at how they treat there drivers now and we have a union.

but the union is not for everyone you have to be a member and the company you work for has to be a union company you can't just walk in and join just dosent work that way.
does the union get money from the goverment of coure they do along with a lot of other people and why not everybody likes a free hand out if they can get away with it , you don't like it well neither do i did you call your reprsnitive and complain no? i did but it takes more then just me .

does the union or the goverment control what i make , or what i charge for my servics , they do not , i do and that is as it should be . i don't want or need there help i take care of my own period. and i don't do bad , i have no complaints, wonder why most of you do i don't even have an education but im doing just fine , wonder why.

you all seem to want to blame the goverement , the union, ooida, well they didnt do it , you did it's easy to place blame on some one else when in reality it is you that is responsibel, you are the one that takes the back haul, or the cheap freight , you are the one that takes the cheap wage from some podonk company and as long as you do your going to have to do it and the company or the broker is going to keep on giving you the cheap wage or the cheap load , why? because as long as you dont say no they make more money off of you THE DRIVER and why wouldnt they it has become easy for them so why not .

now along with all this a lot ofyou are blaming the OWNER OPERATOR well let me tell you a few things about the owner operator a subjest i no a little about, becaue i am one and always have been i dont work for a company why? because i don't take orders from anyone period, i do things my way, not the goverments way , not the brokers way, not the companys way , by god my way and i dont ask for anything i make it own my own i don't need there hand outs and you will find that most owner operators are the same way there independent why? because there willing to work and they do and most do just fine. they have learned that you never lose till you quit or depend on some one else to do it for you, i think most of you have become to much in love with yourself you have forgotten how to be self sufficent , you say we need to organise well surprise surprise WE ARE , we do it our way and we wouldnt have it any other way. we are in trhis business to be independent and thats why we stay in this business the independenced and the freedom to do it our way we don't need to organise we already have what we want and guess what we make money every week and when we want to go home , we go home ,if we dont want to haul the load we let it sit on the dock most of us remember how to sat no and are not afraid to do so.

HERE IS A FLASH , there is not to much wrong with the trucking business just the drivers that are n the business thats what make the business bad driver make the business work they can make it good or they casn make it bad the driver controls the business.

all of you might think about that the next time you start blaming the union, ooida. the goverment or anyone else it's up to you to make it or not nobody is supposed to do it for you.
