    No...there is no simple way around it, unless you explore the belzares option.

    That is an inferior solution, that is bound to fail...

    I cannot answer that question for certain, but a blackmer 60GPM pump hangs off the back of my PTO. It gets diverted into either Liquid pump or air compressor.

    My liquid pump is a Blackmer that accepts 60-120 GPM

    Air compressor is a Ingersoll Rand that needs 120 GPM

    When you run a PTO 7.5 MPG is highly acceptable in a Bulk/Heavy Haul environment.

    This thread has many thousand views that benefit this forum, and folks who are trying to make life happen.

    I would agree with everything you say in this post. For the record, your truck even at 7.5mpg likely paid for the expensive pto upgrade in less than a year compared to a 6 mpg truck. We can't explain why some people look for reasons to express their mean spirited nature, but that doesn't change our need to make decisions based on facts and profits vs some old school, mean spirited hatred of modern technology.

    Btw.. how is the PTO holding up? I'm told that the DT12 housings can only support a lighter weight pto. I think that would be fine for what I need. Just curious if you've had any problems.

    I have appx 152 hours of PTO use since install over the last 11 months, and nothing has broken, no leaks when it comes to the transmission. Knock on wood, flawless, so far. Just hanging the pump off the PTO seems to be the best option, as opposed to running a shaft and having bearing failure, leaking trans fluid out. I like my setup, and while I did have a Blackmer Vane liquid pump come apart on me, that was just a bad pump, and it was changed out without taking apart the other parts of the system. (I have a diverter valve that changes hydraulic flow between air compressor or liquid pump). Company I contract with owns the pumps, so they changed it on their dime, but did cost me three days of downtime while they overnighted a new pump.

    Also, to be a snarky a-hole, my mpg has improved from 7.5 to 7.8 - 7.9. Lots of things made that happen, first and foremost losing 400 lbs of battery weight everyday. See the Ionic battery thread
