Probably has a federal crime in there somewhere.
Nothing can be hidden except through pure luck.
I know a guy that can find anything. He told me, "If you every stole a stapler off a desk, I'll find out."

CPAP is a must if you want to continue a trucking career. -
Marten Transport ads say they'll pay for CPAP and pay for supplies.

Marten will also alert you for upcoming bad weather/road conditions -- & pay you while you are stopped/shut down for such.
With Marten -- you can choose between dry van, or reefer freight.

Only reason i was looking at hazmat was because everything that is a local job near me that isn't food service wants it. Dayton, Estes, Central, SAIA and so on. Its not that I couldn't go back to OTR, its matter of what company is worth the time. In a field of over saturation of drivers and low freight its slim pickings and with some ancient history on my background makes it harder. Its just that when I talk to drivers to get a sense of direction i hear "whatca got to do is get you a year in and go and get one of those local linehaul jobs!" Then when i make that attempt i hear "oh you thought it worked that way?!?"
I voluntarily dropped out of schneider because my co driver had to leave, and used it as my opportunity to leave on good terms to "go find that better job", after all, i had a clean CMV score and the time in. I could of stay on as a solo, but that's not what everyone was saying, "Mega's are for training, then you move on."
I am 5 10 and 280lbs, sure I'm not in shape, but the people I've seen on the road that pour themselves out of a truck at the fuel island makes me think I'm not nearly that bad and makes me wonder how those people are getting around "safety". Not every company forces sleep study and has company doctor either, i have one outfit in town that doesn't but wont take me. Seems like its the megas are all in on that but i cant be sure because you cant trust a recruiter. Also Schneider didn't do the ol bait and switch on me like hear these other companies do where they don't care if you just got you DOT card. They accepted it and i didn't have to get a new one from their doctor. Sleep study only came up 6 months into the job and because of the pre existing type 2 diabetes i was flagged for sleep study. everything else on their test i didn't have, but if you answer yes to one of them you get forced into the study.
My location is between Chicago and Rockford, and it was a conspiracy to commit murder charge that puts me out of a hazmat card. they ain't expunging that so I'm only good if i can fight for a wavier. I have all my other endorsements, just no manual transmission.Numb Thanks this.
