The range in the photo you posted looks to be 36 inch wide. 30 inch wide is more or less the standard size now. You can get 36 inch ranges, they will run you a bit more money, they are usually special order at most retailers. They have them with a center griddles or some have burner modules that can be interchanged. Pull out a module, drop in a griddle or a set of burners. You could have up to 6 burners or 4 and a griddle, your choice.

In your photo, the range has countertop to the left side, but not the right side. That’s what I was making reference to. Is a counter to the right side in the plans?

That’s going to be the last detail when the job comes to the end. I reckon she’s going to have me taking her to appliance stores to see what she wants. She picks, I pay. o_O

Janska is not well known here in the US. Same could be said about a lot of European brands.
Probably the biggest concern would be if it should need service. Not sure who is the parts supplier for something like the oven temp controller. Not saying the product is bad. Just have questions.
Note that the griddle is not a built in, this is basically a 6 burner unit with a fitted griddle/grill plate, that sits on top of a burner set. That may or may not be a benefit.

For a good 36 inch range, this is fully in the price range you might expect to see.

You got a lot of experience in this. What happened to just going into store and saying I want this and this and this. What’s the price.
