Well designed pathway for all trucks in,Out,to the fuel island, parking, etc with good signs in english.
Plenty of fuel islands that are kept clean.Nothing worst than a fuel island that looks like the the underside of a asphalt truck from the dried up fuel, dirt, and oil.
Hook ups for RVs and power/air/heat for trucks parked over night.Maybe with walls between the sparking spots for noise reduction.
Good food and multiple choke and puke options(fast food and quality cooking stuff)
Clean showers.
Theater and maybe a game room.Mix it old school arcade and modern stuff.
Build and rent out a good size garage/tire shop.
Don't for get the bling bling stuff and installation.Gifts for RVers and vacationers stopping by.good selection of Groceries for drivers and RVers.
Basically,a non-truck truckstop.Set it up to service everyone and anyone from the bikers riding to a event to Collector car guys to the family in a 4 wheeler headed to the beach or the RVers headed for a long weekend away from home to the working guys out there jammin gears.

Plenty of clean showers
Lots and lots of FREE parking
Full restaraunt also fast food is good for times when youve got to go
TV room, game room...atleast somewhere to sit that doesnt belong to McDonalds or Subway!!
Seperate entrance and exits
Security to keep bums and lizards from knocking on the door asking If Ive got a dollar or want commercial company
truck wash that actually uses brushes
Basically, somewhere to fill our tanks and our stomachs. Somewhere to wash our ### and our trucks without someone begging for something or selling something.pappalion Thanks this. -

Maybe a little out of the box here but, insted of just laundry facilities, how about a reasonably priced "fluff 'n fold" service?
Think about it. Drop your dirty stuff with the attendant, fuel, eat, shower, pick up your clean laundry and your done.
I would not only pay for the sevice on a regular basis but I'd prolly flip the attendant a tip too.
just my $0.02

unfortunately your prob one of the few. look at how many drivers wear the same clothes day after day after day. And either are to lazy to take a shower at least every other day. do you really believe that there going to pay $5-10 plus for laundry service when they dont even want to either get a free shower or pay $10 when needed.pappalion Thanks this.

I got a great idea NO 4 Wheelers. I have had a long day and if that kid screams one more time when im trying to eat, relax, and watch tv. how about a few small tv rooms. i dont want to watch usa or lifetime but dont feel like hearing the bleeding pussys complain when i put on the discovery or history channel. so like 6 small tv rooms with like seating for 5-6 and a 30" screen.

How is it going with the truck stop research? I see your in Wharton TX. There are a few truck stops near you going south and going north. The worst is going south near Edna. Its a conoco it is on the north bound lane. The loves and TA travel center are ok. You can walk around in a few of these and get a feel of what is going on. The best I know of is a Flying J up near Conroe on I-45 it is at rankin road exit 62.
Buckies is one of the best. They do not allow trucks. People go inside Buckies just to see what the have. They are very good at specials and introducing new items and moving out non sellers. The fuel desk, keep the fuel desk line moving. If the truckers are in line, there are in the way of someone that could be buying your fuel. Most important, if there in line there not making in money just like you. Last, I don't think a business can spend enough on advertising on bill boards. Good luck.pappalion Thanks this. -
First is tv room, now im not a big sports fan, unless nascar on, so i could care less who bunt heads with who , football, soccer ect, i say have like the phone booths of years past , go in close the door put on your headphones and flip on the channel you wanna wacth, and no porn ether , or a automatic kick out from truck stop, or for a fee , they turn on the vcr , but still have too pay a fee too use this room, manily too cover the overhead as that lazyboy relaxe you as it vibs yours cares away, next would be a massage room, a nice barber shop for everyone, a dentist shop, good homemade food of all kinds , and not under the buffet lights that steak could be used for a roofing shingle, the parking lots would sweep 5 times a day, and anyone throwing thrash or bottles urine would be banned from truckstop same as urinit on catwalk or pooping on catwalk, nice landscape surrending the truckstop, nice freindly attendees, serve with a smile, fast pumps too get you in and out if need be, a good shop that wont rip you off, good clean showers with nice fluffy towels, and a seprate area for 4 wheelers, well thats my two pennys worth, have tons more ideas too, Everett.
