Where is everyone #5

Hey guys have a tech question. Have a HDPE plastic gas tank that has a crack. It is not avaliable in replacement. I plan to V out crack and drill ends. But what epoxy would work best as a permit repair.

I would replace this if it was a option. It's not. Or I haven't found one yet. I also don't want to do this twice. I'm aware of alot of epoxy that is avaliable. But I have never done this with gas. I need a product known to work 100%.

Prices are insane regardless of who’s asking for them at this point. May as well get something you turn back to look at.

 

Plastic welder. Made by a company called Polyvance. About $200 on Amazon.

 

Just found out a buddy has one. Seems like the best option. I do not want to pull this tank a second time.

It is a talent. I am quite adept with like that; making a compete post disappear just before I send, and even lose a segment.
Used to think it was age and arthritic fat fingers, but have decided neither. There this 'short" between my ears apparently.
