Looking for school and decent work with a speeding ticket less that 2 years old

Good luck. 15 over is reckless driving, regardless of the charge on your citation. Maybe someone will hire you in a couple of years.

Don't go to CDL school until you find the employer that will hire you with your background. Is your criminal record clean?

 

That speeding citation is going to be a problem for 3 to 5 years from date of conviction. Most people don’t realize it’s that date, not the day you were cited. You may have to look into a self pay type of school. Then look for something local for a while. All depends on when that citation comes off the record. That depends on your state and its laws. You should look into what class the charge and conviction is. Last, insurance companies will have to approve coverage ability. They see everything on your MVR from day one of having a license.
