Makes me want to walk into some companys office's and slap the living #### outta owners and CEO's

 

I bailed on em awhile back when they started cutting back on pay.
It's our own fault, I ain't pro Union but so long as drivers keep signing on for this crap than craps what we get.

 

why would ANYONE work for that $$$ (or lack of)?

 

I am new to this , my questrion would be, after talking with werner, they said Regional pay sliding long and short hauls 26 cpm to 40cpm , averaging to be 30 to 31... At least that's what they said before setting up orientation...... west regional.......
The more I read the more I find they will say anything to get you there.......

For God's sake.I honestly made more than that cutting grass when I was 15, and that was 31 years ago!

 

Sorry the quesstion was, what the heck is sliding and the different pay, is it not so much per mile...... regardless

 

It's a good idea to do your homework before signing with ANY company.

 

Sliding is the shorter the run, the more you'll get per mile.If you do have to sign on for something like this, please do yourself a favor and keep very close track of each trip,the miles,the stopover,etc. If not, I can guarantee you'll be getting nicked on each and every pay check. Good luck buddy,and stay safe regardless of who you sign on with right out of school.Don't let them push you,as it's your future and your CDL, not your dispatchers...
