New O/O, Old truck what do I need to keep her in top shape?

    Aluminum bodies still corroded and were a PIA to fix.

    To the OP, I would either rebuild the fifth wheel or replace it altogether.

    you mention the cabs rotting, I already planned on removing the seat and rubber flooring to deep clean it. While I’m in there is their a good rust preventative you could recommend?

    Get the complete kit, actually, better yet, call them and ask them how much you are going to need; you may need the gallon of cleaner and prep each and maybe a few gallons of the sealer. I think $300 should be right to do it right.

    Anybody know why the previous owner would take off the pyrometer at the exhaust and plug it with a pipe plug like the one show in this picture

    A threaded plug to plug the hole . Idk why they discontinued it , too lazy to replace pyro ?

    Or did they move it to the manifold to get pre-turbo readings?
