I have but I didn't see where you've specified their operations. My apologies if I missed it. What post was it? All I saw was your mention of a contract. That's vague and doesn't explain their relationship.

If they're under your numbers you're good. If they aren't and you don't have an MC/bond then you're not so good and the guys hauling are really fools frankly.

Well, I appreciate y'all's comments. It's been educational and entertaining. Still don't see where I'm going against federal law. That's what started all this. Y'all have a good day.

You're double brokering or abusing trip leasing. As a carrier you should already know this. One significant cargo or accident claim is all it will take. I find it hard to believe you found a bunch of fools willing partake in your process.

Knowing me, I probably made it all up just to see how far out on the limb you would go. And then again, maybe not.

Someone can not lease on to you when they have their own authority, unless they suspended their authority. I have several friends that have guys leased on to them, but none of them have their own authority.

Wrong. The only thing that can stop this is a insurance company.

Yes, when its not done properly. It could be a huge financial burden. Then getting one of the many insurance carriers to accept claim becomes a issue. They both will deny it.

    Double broken - no.

BUT it isn't about the law, it is all about the insurance.
