I love what I do just not the fools around me nor do I handle stupid and no common sense but they come with the turf. Dec 12 begins my 45th year.

 

Completely agree. March will be my 41st year. I dont move for less than $2.50 a mile. I will admit I havent really done a lot this year, and not much more the year before, but I will be 68 in a month and have enough to live on and havent even started collecting SS yet. House paid for, truck paid for, everything is paid for. I can afford to sit and wait for the rates to come up.

And if they dont, I can afford that too...

The WORST thing I could do is run for less than $2.50 a mile. The only way rates are going to go up is to let everyone willing to work for nothing go out of business. And I (for one) am able and willing to wait it out.

 

If you act now you'll be able to get in these hot TX-FL lane.

Maybe can do $1.60 round-trip!

It’s really kind of sad..

First image is three identical loads posted today and two were grabbed right away. One still available but the price was raised to $1,495.
Second image is what I did the same exact load for last May…and that rate is after deducting 2% for quick pay.

 

Just feed it bread, it won't bite!
