Help with violations. “OPERATE VEHICLE WHILE TEXTING"

Can you prove you eyes were on the road? No. Without a driver cam it's a matter of your word versus the trooper's word and the judge will believe the trooper. You can bring call/text records to court but that will not prove where your eyeballs were looking at the time in question. Are you a citizen?

 

Central Valley, CA companies, especially with immigrant drivers are not generating great safety records and no tickets. They have a heck of a reputation, bad. Almost every problem I ever had West of OKC involved some fly-by-night Central Valley, CA company with clapped out equipment.

 

You might be able to get that charge dismissed, but that's the least important charge,

 

The judge is alwasy going to see the words of the officer as accurate unless you prove they are not. America isn't as tribal as every other country where the only important thing is your tribe is always right, no matter what. That seems to be what you want. Hold on, we are headed that way and will be come just another dirty, crowded, dysfunctional 3rd world country like those other countries.

 

I'm just asking to see if that is ONE MORE THING that makes your company, maybe you, EXACTLY like the stereotype of Central Valley, CA trucking companies and drivers I've had experience with. So far, nothing suggests anything except that Central Valley stereotype. If you don't like the stereotype, blame the many thousands of other drivers from Central Valley, CA leaving a wake of tickets and accidents in their wake. I work against the stereotype people first want to put on me by NOT doing absolutely everything that stereotype typically does. Some people just want to complain and make it illegal to notice what is obvious.
