More foreigners on the road

This proves I’m right… You look at the wages of these countries & they come here and get paid 10 bucks an hour per se they’re getting rich while the Americans are getting poorer and going into the poor house because that’s depressing wages… I know it’s somewhat hard for some people in society to understand that, but it is what it is facts matter

 

Its strange that in the US illegals can do as they please and not be bothered but if you go to the countries the illegals come from and do like they do you would be arrested and jailed. Real strange. I think thats what you call a racist bigot…

 

Dude.....you make me laugh so hard sometimes. That little chart does not even begin to show why wages are depressed. You don't think corporate greed has anything to do with why wages are down? You only targeted Hispanic countries. Here's a question for you.....maybe there's a chart for this too: how much of the workforce is made up of immigrants? That tells more of the story.

You're a truck driver, you go into truck stops....you mean to tell me immigrants is the reason why those folks working at the Pilot aren't making better money? You say they're driving down wages and taking all these jobs. The immigrants don't even know any of this that your talking about. Who gave them the jobs? Answer that question and find a chart for that too.

 

What are you talking about? Illegals get arrested all the time. You go to other countries and screw up, of course they arrest you, just like here. Yall post stories all the time about illegals getting caught fouling up here...short memory or nah?

 

US trucking companies cannot compete well with human trafficking. When foreign base companies send over guys do you think they are paid the same as you are? You don’t think the passports are being held? Look at their equipment compared to the equipment you drive with at your current company. You drive for an established company that abide by safety regulations. These companies do not. When their safety score is too bad they just start a new company. The drivers have no accountability as they have no loyalty to the country that they work in. Have you noticed the lack of etiquette at the Fuel aisle or in the bathrooms.. What’s wrong with them making a good living here and taking it home to their native lands? Well, they are not fighting or dying for this country. I expect someone that comes to America to sacrifice for this country. They are not joining the military nor are they bringing their families over they’re just using it. They’re using your opportunities. There is no unlimited opportunity for all . There are limited resources for people in a land. If you don’t believe me, ask him why they come here. Their resources in their own countries are all used up. They’re here to take yours. How do I know this. I was born abroad. I came here. Differences I wanted to make a life here. Not just use America and it’s resources and bail. These thoughts of mine are about the foreign companies and truck drivers that have been entering the market lately that are not the normal immigrant crowd that live and build a future in our nation. These are ones that just use the loopholes and exploit other trucking companies as they do not abide by the rules and expectations. Thus putting out good American companies thought of business. And lowering wages. You have stated your wages have gone up, That might be correct for you, but industry wide wages have been falling and not been keeping up with inflation. Trucking wages are very low compared to our worked. Many trucking positions are below what a fast food worker makes when adding up the hours.

 

This feels so self righteous and elitist. I can't understand why every single problem in trucking is blamed on foreigners, when Americans are just as much to blame for these issues.

 

I don’t think you understand what a privilege it is to be in this country. One should have to sacrifice and serve this country just to be able to be called a citizen when coming from another country. I think a lot of Americans and possibly you, take this country for granted. Being called fellow American should be earned and not just giving out For free without a meaning to all. So much has been sacrificed. I would not be alive today without Americans that have liberated my grandfather from a death camp. American citizens have great privileges that need not be taken for granted and be protected from others that will exploit.

 

Trucking in America now is almost entirely foreign based. If you don’t believe me, go to any truckstop and look at the trucks and drivers at the Fuel aisle. You are a minority. It has happened as you did not care to do anything about it. The American trucking company is on the decline. Russian and Ukrainian investors are starting companies in the US and an exploiting the market. to be honest, they’re not even immigrants. They are only here to work temporarily and exploit by not following the rules that we do. Such as safety and wages.

 

You can’t argue with people that think they are smarter than everyone and think you’re obviously an idiot for having an America first attitude. I for one will always be America first and that will never change.
