Yeah, they never worked with me before and also asked for pics of the truck in dock, then a pic of the load and then a pic of the seal with trailers doors closed

Yup. He was covering his ###. Lots of trash out there. Still a good looking Volvo though.

I had the same thing a few times. Sent pictures of Truck/plate, cab card, me and D/L together to get them to override my bad report from 911 saying I had only had 1 DOT inspection back in 2008. I wish, Lol. Just hadn’t had any for over 30 months. by design, after getting pulled in repeatedly for some odd reason. I started taking a lot of scenic routes. Lol.

That may change going forward, however I was using liability in a different sense.

Earlier you mentioned that "There is a reason gliders were so popular. Obviously a lot of people, including big companies like Schneider did their math before buying them." Schneider also did the math when they started dumping them before 3 years of use. Part of the decision was the larger than anticipated maintenance costs - a lot of them started having serious issues after 100K. The larger reason was the successful deployment of OnGuard. The lawyers argued that in a crash, simply having OnGaurd (or any other CMS) reduced civil liability.

I just got new stacks put on. They are shorter bullhorns from what I had on before. Maybe, I will have less money flow out shorter stacks? Hehe

These guys are really starting to blow this out of proportion. They posted a similar "story" on Friday. For flatbed the load to truck ratio I'm seeing is still trash. Maybe I'll go buy a van ;)
