I know I already shared this with you. But for the rest. I found my dad's last brand new truck. 1990 FLC. Still kicking around Ann Arbor MI. Local Boys built it into a wrecker.

 

Keeping of the family tradition to only have one stack huh.? Lol

Like it best in original configuration there, looks good with the blue jeans color original paint job too..

If you think a 379 is tight, try a Heritage Star Car. I’m 6’2”, and I have to shoehorn myself in and out. Oh well, she’s paid for!

 

Not really just happened that way. Alot of guys back then did. They wanted to as light as possible. If I recall that unit only weighted 29-30k empty. Pretty sure he could load 50k legal. But normally had 2 40's on each trailer.

He wasn't one for having unnecessary items on a rig.

 

I usually avoid Texas (no offense to the resident Texans), but I've found myself here 3 times this week. Sunday night coming into El Paso (nice mountain drive over to Santa Teresa), and this morning delivering hay to Gilmer.

 

Well guys, I have a question for for y’all….

What’s Laredo, TX like? Good , bad, or…? Going Monday to look at a load that need’s delivered there on flatbed. If it’s one of those deals they want to take my trailer across the border into Mexico then it’s already a big no….
