2 years, clean MVR and you applied to Swift? Sounds fishy to me

Same happened to me in another company. Spent $500 to get there for them to tell me no truck available. Never refunded of course. Make sure that everything is legit before you pack your things

Usually, the procedure is that you don’t receive orientation pay until you are assigned to a truck, rookie or experienced.

Some companies wait till you deliver your first load.

assuming all paperwork is up to snuff, only reason to send you home is can't pass driving test or, as I witnessed with one co years ago, driver was so tattooed co didn't want him representing the truck co. I mean face, everything.

Just chalk it to the game man. Figure out where you went wrong, and try to work somewhere else

That’s the thing I never smoked or done any drugs. Passed the drug test, was honest about job history, clean MVR. They told me I’m eligible to reapply in 6 months. I’m not sure what even happened after orientation but I’m still in the dark about it

I Went to orientation did everything. Filled out everything. Nothing went wrong anywhere except for when I got home and saw my application was declined. I passed drug test and was honest about MVR and job history. Which is all clean

Just maybe they ended up with more applicants than available jobs. Could have drawn names out of a hat to select those that got hired.

    tscottme Thanks this.
