reading this thread from start I was hoping you got something put together :)
I had my eye on one of those grom clones, they are 1300$ to your door. It's not honda quality but hey, its cheap, and I dont care when in gets trashed because of elements. I spend 50-100$ on rideshare a month just geting to the truck, and not to mention freedom when doing 34.

I've got grand ideas but no motivation. I'm thinking about folding e-bikes at this point. I have a regular customer that I deliver to 2x a week and that's usually where I want to go for a ride. I can keep one of my bikes down there behind his gate.

finally had my mechanic make a mount for my grom last month. No stretch but it is an old 377 so bigger wheelbase than all the newer stuff. Takes about 5 mins to get it on or off. image.jpg

An ebike would be a good idea.

They don't go very far or fast though. 28 mph and 45 miles. For the cheapest.

Can you give more pics on your setup? Been looking to pull the trigger on one for a while. Do you just have a ramp on the back side and you guide it up?

Have you considered an eBike. Easy to lift up and gets you around without any effort if you don't want to pedal (Exercise) on the trip.
Only problem with eBikes are they are get stolen easily so be sure to lock well and don't linger in the Store.

    Cheers

Mine is a Fucare Gimini X, has 2 Batteries which take my 210 Lbs Carcass without pedaling easy 100 Miles. I have a Front and Rear Basked which I could load up with another 190 Lbs. if I want too. 20X4 inch Tires Purchased 2023 via Amazon for a bit over 2K Canadian absolutely love it.
    Cheers

It’s just a bunch of angle iron, welded the ramp and the mount to more angle iron that runs along the frame and bolts to pre existing bolt holes. The ramp is what’s next to the bike. Two bolts welded below, one on each side and four fish eye hooks welded on each corner to strap it down to. Not at the truck atm but I’ll post what I have in photos for now
