Likely nothing will happen. I ran past a scale maybe 3 times in the 1990s. 1 was on purpose. Nothing ever came of it. There is a small chance of your company getting a ticket in the mail. It's not a big deal. Unless something else happens & it becomes a big deal. Usually the worst-case scenario is a trooper stops you on the side of the road near the scale you bypassed. Since that didn't happen I would stop worrying. I worry about things by nature. I would stop worrying about this and never do it again.

So she got actually lit up all 3 times she went past one without pulling in? From what I’m reading it seems I got lucky. I knew OK is pretty serious but didn’t know they were one of the worst states to miss as scale.

Are you talking about the big scale or the old scale NB ? Old scale just has flashing light so I’m assuming big scale.( yes they still do occasionally open it, they’ll be chaser cars if open) Hate to break it to you, but tickets already printed, e-mailed & mailed. If your company doesn’t pay it promptly any cmv in your fleet will be pulled in & questioned when they pass through any scale in OK. OK is the one state you don’t ## with running scales, New Mexico runner up.

I’m thinking it was the big scale. Didn’t really look any larger than any other scale I’ve seen though.

Hopefully you are wrong about them mailing it cause I do not need any issues this early on with this company.

Years ago there were some scales on 80 in Illinois I never stopped for and would even wave at as I drove by , I wouldn't dream of doing that now lol..

A ticket in the mail for that would be a new one on me. At this point consider it water over the dam. If you were to have a problem for that you would’ve had it right then. Just don’t make a habit of it.

First time on my way out to Denver, was passing a BigR and realized that I blew by that scale on 70 to the west side of StLouis. Hit the shoulder as a chase car was coming. Told him my mistake and he took my license and told me to get turned around and come back in. No fine, just logbook check and a wagon weigh.

There was a sign on the old Devil’s Highway when you got to i40 that said required CMVs to go west on 40 and cross the scale. Never saw a cop there, so I always ignored it and go east.

And that scale on 95 south of Baltimore where you come off the bypass and have to jump 2 lanes over to get in. Always blew past that one.
