I’ve always had painted wheels, so I can’t answer that, sorry.
It doesn’t really scratch or leave marks on painted wheels.
Got stuck in snow and needed a tow.

Remember the days before ABS?

FWIW don't buy Autosocks. They might keep you from sliding on ice, but once you start spinning they are useless. I had to get towed out of a parking space at the Town Pump in Superior, MT once. I was really mad about the waste of money for the set of Autosocks I had. I ditched them and bought chains after that. Chains are heavy, nasty, and a pain to put on and take off, but they work.
hope not dumb twucker, El Hueso and Concorde Thank this. -
Chains work. You're just going to get cold, wet and dirty but they work. Do all four and get a cup of coffee.

If you were a real company driver w-2 they would pay for tow truck. As 1099 but they treat you as company driver it kinda messes things up as who is responsible. If you make more money then w-2 drives I guess pay it yourself or like someone said maybe both pay half.
hope not dumb twucker and El Hueso Thank this.
